In today's society, "wellness" is an all-encompassing term. Spiritual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and occupational wellness are all vital aspects of one's total well-being. Therefore, all degree-seeking students are required to successfully complete KINS-101 Wellness and Fitness for a Lifetime.

We also off a unique program called Healthy Diploma.  This is a diploma of distinction that helps differentiate our graduates from other competing job applicants.  It is a 15 credit hour concentration that will help instill a lifetime of healthy behavior.  Students apply to the program their freshman or sophomore year.  UIndy is ground breaking as the only known college or university nationwide that is offering a program of this kind.
